Winter Hair Explained
Celebs are going to start wearing their winter hats and looking perfect! I always feel like celebs pick up these amazing fix-it tip when they wear hats like fedoras and berets, but they don't share them. Thankfully, I ran into some hair styling tips from Philip Pelusi, and they could really come in handy.

Let's kick things off with the beret, a notoriously challenging hat to wear in winter. I've seen celebs looking cute in photoshoots and in paparazzi shots with their winter gear on, but I've never thought much about the intricacies of styling my own hair with one--until I tried to pop a hat on this morning. It's not that easy!

Philip recommends trying your hair in a side pony to give yourself some softness when wearing a beret--this is why I love recommendations! I never just randomly put my hair in a side ponytail...

Basically, we're aiming for a "French Romantic" look when we rock our beret. While Philip recommends straight or smooth hair with this look, I tried it with my wavy tresses, and it looked great! Simply apply a smoothing product to hair that has already been paddled brushed or otherwise styled, and then twist the ponytail in one direction (the opposite side of the part), and secure.

Now this is one crucial detail: as you put on your beret, make sure it tilts to the opposite side than the ponytail. You're ready to go!
