Nicole Kidman Won't Star in Bel Ami With Robert Pattinson

Of course, Nicole Kidman is happily married to Keith Urban, but we were still a bit jealous she was going to star in a movie with Robert Pattinson. But now that she backed out, we want to know who will score the role. Do you think we have a chance?

We're not sure what kind of "scheduling conflict" Nicole Kidman could have had that's so important she has to back out of starring in Bel Ami with Robert Pattinson. We're pretty sure nothing could keep us away from starring in that movie. Even if it was only as an extra.

Robert Pattinson has already been cast to play George Duroy in Guy de Maupassant's Bel Ami. It's the story of a young male journalist who has an affair with a wealthy older women and rises to the top of Parisian high society. Do you follow us? Nicole Kidman would be playing that wealthy older man Robert Pattinson has an affair with.

Nicole accepted the role (obviously), but then some kind of scheduling conflict came up. Robert Pattinson has described his character as "a totally amoral character" and the movie's producers call the film, "an erotically charged story of ambition, power and seduction." So, we're really confused as to why Nicole wouldn't want to take part in that!

Now we're left wondering who will play Robert Pattinson's seductive older woman in Bel Ami. And where can we sign up?
